In Jaipur, IIS (including the university) was established in 2009 and is one of the leaders of the country in Jaipur. It is accredited by NAAC and certified by UGC. Enrolling around 4,500 students in various programmes, the university has a total of 14 departments offering UG, PG and research programs in Science, Arts and Social Sciences, Economics Press and Management as well as many programs like Bachelor of Education and Fine Arts, Journalism etc. This year the university also launched several new professional and co-curricular programs such as Diplomas in Library and Information Science, Forensic Science and Clinical Psychology. Apart from undergraduate courses, candidates can also opt for postgraduate/certificate courses.
Admission to these programs is based on the results of the final qualifying examination. Government of India Clinical Council (RCI) approved one year Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology, accreditation is through entrance exam, group discussion and interactive session. Post Graduate Scholarship for Single Girl Child
• Indira Gandhi Postgraduate Scholarship for Unmarried Daughters: This scholarship is awarded to an unmarried daughter of her parents (who has no sister). The program is open to single girls studying in a full-time Masters program in a college or PG college. The IIS University Scholarship is valid for the first year after graduation. Distance learning programs are not part of the program. Applicants can apply for IIS University scholarships only before the age of 30 years.
• SC/ST OBC Scholarships: IISU Jaipur Scholarships are available for OBC, SC and ST category students who fulfill the government guidelines.
