Jagannath University, Jaipur was in form on 16 April 2008 by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan (Act No. 19 of 2008), passed under section 2(a). (f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and recognized by NAAC as (Second) 'A' Class of 2022 and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university has also achieved a unique position in agricultural education, with ICAR recognition for its B.Sc
The university offers UG and PG courses in engineering and technology, architecture, commerce, law, agricultural sciences, pharmacy, physiotherapy, non-medical sciences, education and professional studies. Doctoral programs are also available in some way.
The university is approved by various regulatory bodies (CoA, BCI, NCTE and PCI) for courses in their respective disciplines.

• Jagannath University has a large campus which provides all the necessary facilities to the students. It has a fully computerized library containing important text and reference materials, national and international journals and periodicals, theses and publications. Libraries provide students with a large collection of books called "book banks". It comes with the latest research and use of audiovisual and printed information.
There are good laboratories in every faculty in the university campus.
Students can use the lab to solve problems, experiment and work on various projects. The school has separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 3 dormitories for boys, each with a capacity of 150 people, and a dormitory for girls with a capacity of 84 people. The common rooms are well-equipped and spacious, equipped with 24-hour internet access, a reading room and board games. The hotel is also equipped with a generator that provides 24-hour backup power.

The university offers various scholarships based on the following different criteria:
1) All female students will be awarded a girl's scholarship and the percentage of this scholarship will be 10% of the tuition fee
2) Haryana Domicile will be enhanced by 100% 25% as scholarship e University ACT Estimated Tuition Fee (Haryana Domicile Students only)
3) PMS (Post Matrix Scholarship) applicable to Haryana SC whose family income is less than 2.50 Laks (Annual), sons and daughters will get 100% tuition fees.
