A Common Entrance Test, popularly known as TS LAWCET -2023 (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) will be conducted by the Convener, TS LAWCET -2023, Osmania University, Hyderabad for admission into 3 / 5-year law (LL.B.) Courses on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) in the Law Colleges situated in Telangana state for the academic year 2023-2024. TS LAWCET (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) is conducted at state level in a computer-based mode.

Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants are requested to check the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. Form with the incorrect information will be rejected in the admission process at any stage and no grievances will be entertained by the institute in this regard.

3-year LL.B. Course:

Students must have completed Graduation and holding a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 45% marks for general category students and 40% marks for SC/ST students and 42% for OBC Category students.

If any student obtained less than 45%, 40% and 42% marks respectively in graduation, then they have to obtain same percentage or above in any Post Graduation or B. Ed.

Polytechnic Diploma holders shall be considered as class 10+2 equivalent students.

Students who are awaiting their final year result of Graduation can also apply for provisional admission and at time of admission they have to submit the proof of qualifying exam.

Integrated 5 Year LL.B. Course:

Students must have passed class 10+2 examination in any stream from recognized board and obtained minimum 45% marks for general category students and 40% marks for SC/ST students and 42% for OBC Category students are eligible.

Students awaiting their board results are also eligible to apply and at time of admission they have to submit the proof of qualifying exam.

To apply for the exam, students must be an Indian citizen.

There is no upper age limit to appear in the TS LAWCET -2023 exam.

Application Form Fill-out Process:

Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date for registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.

  1. Visit the official website - https://lawcet.tsche.ac.in/.
  2. After that click on the TS LAWCET -2023 admission portal and " New Registration" link.
  3. Read the instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.
  4. Fill-up all the necessary details in the application form carefully.
  5. Upload your signature, scanned photograph, thumb impression and all the necessary documents in the application form.
  6. Pay the application fee via online mode.
  7. Submit the application form before the last date of registration.

Application Fees: -

Students who wish to apply for the TS LAWCET -2023 (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test), may pay the applicable fee through the online gateway of debit or credit card which is a non-refundable amount.

General category students: - Rs.900/-

SC/ST & PH students: - Rs.600/-

TS LAWCET  Syllabus

Syllabus:

Before appearing in TS LAWCET -2023 (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) conducted by Convener, Osmania University, Hyderabad, students must check the syllabus given below:

Part – A: Comprises of 30 questions of 30 marks: Mental Ability and General Knowledge.

Part – B: Comprises of 30 questions of 30 marks: Current Affairs.

Part – C: Comprises of 60 questions of 60 marks: Aptitude for the Study of Law.

There are total 10 Questions out of 60 Questions will be based on the comprehension of legal passages given.

For 5-year Law Course, syllabus based on Intermediate level/10+2 and for 3-year Law Course, the based-on Degree Level.

The Questions will be objective type in nature constitutes four alternative options numbered as 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The TS LAWCET -2023 (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted by Convener, Osmania University, Hyderabad on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission into 3 / 5-year law (LL.B.) Courses in computer-based test (online) that has been conducted in various cities across Telangana state.

Students wishing to appear for the exam must meet the eligibility conditions of the exam. For the law courses, the TS LAWCET 2023 exam has been conducted on 25th May 2023 and results has been declared on June 15, 2023.

TS LAWCET  Admit Card

Exam Admit Card:

The TS LAWCET -2023 (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) Admit Card was available on the official website on 16th May 2023. Students can access their hall ticket by logging in with their login id and password.

Steps to Get Admit card:

  1. Go to the official website - https://lawcet.tsche.ac.in/.
  2. Then after click on the " TS LAWCET -2023 Admit Card" link.
  3. Enter your login id and password.
  4. Click on the "Submit" button.
  5. Admit card/Hall ticket will be shown on the screen.
  6. Download and print your Admit card/Hall ticket for future reference.

Students are suggested to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam date. Without the admit-card, students are not permitted for the exam.

TS LAWCET  Cut Off

Exam Cut-off:

The cut-off for TS LAWCET -2023 (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) will be affected by a number of factors such as availability of seats available, the number of students appeared in the exam and exam difficulty level. The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 42 marks out of total 120 marks (i.e.,35%) for all the candidates.
