Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) provides admission into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course. Admission will be made through an Entrance Examination popularly known as IGNOU OPENNET (IGNOU BSC Nursing Entrance Test) at university level. The exam conducts in written mode. Students who meet the eligibility conditions can apply for the IGNOU OPENNET (IGNOU BSC Nursing Entrance Test).

Aspirants are requested to check the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. Form with the incorrect information will be rejected in the admission process at any stage and no grievances will be entertained by the institute in this regard.
Students must have completed class 10+2 along with three years Diploma in (GNM) General Nursing and Midwifery with at least two years’ experience. For nurses or male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM course must have a certificate in any of the nursing courses with a time period of 6-9 months prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.

Students must have completed class 10th class with three years diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least five years’ experience. For nurses or male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM course must have a certificate in any of the nursing courses with a time period of 6-9 months prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.
Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date for registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.

Students who wish to apply for the IGNOU OPENNET -2023 (IGNOU BSC Nursing Entrance Test), may pay the applicable fee of Rs.1000/- through the online gateway of debit or credit card which is a non-refundable amount.
