ABOUT INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUE (I.T.I):
ITI is vocational training program that is designed to give technical skills to students who want to work in the industrial sector after 8th &10th class. It is 6th month to two-year training program depending on the course.
ITI is focus to give technical training & skills development in various industries like mechanical, electrical, electronics, automobile, textile etc. ITI are basically post-secondary schools under DGT, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Union Government established in 1950.
ITI holder can start their own business as trained service man. For example, an ITI student of electric branch can start their own shop of electrician or a student of welding branch can stablish their welding workshop.
