Eligibility Criteria for Distance MSc course:
To pursue Master of Science (M.Sc.) course in Distance Education mode, candidates need to fulfil following eligibility conditions.
Students must have completed graduation and holding a BSc Hons degree or General Bachelor degree in relevant subject from a recognised University are eligible to apply.
Students must have obtained minimum 55 % aggregate marks (50 % marks for SC/ST) in Graduation.
There is no age limit to apply for the Distance Master of Science (M.Sc.) course.
Entrance exam for Distance MSc course:
Admission into Distance Master of Science (M.Sc.) course is done on merit basis or entrance exam basis. There are few colleges which provides admission into Distance Master of Science (M.Sc.) course such as Nalanda Open University, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Osmania University, SOL DU, University of Mumbai and many more.
The mode of an entrance exam is either online or offline depends on the conducting body.
All the questions will be of objective in nature (MCQ).
The duration of an entrance exam is approximately 3 hours.
There will be reduction of no marks for unmarked questions.
4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer, 1 mark will be reduced for every incorrect answer.
