About DNB CET (Diplomate National Board Centralized Entrance Test)

 DNB CET (Diplomate National Board Centralized Entrance Test) used to organize by the (NBE) National Board of Examination for the selection of students for various postgraduate and postdoctoral courses in modern medicines such as MCh/DNB/MD/MS Super Specialty courses.

From 2019, according to the notification, DNB-Centralized Entrance Test's (DNB-CET) has been scrapped and now, the admissions will be done on basis of NEET-PG scores only conducted by NBE, under the ministry of health and family welfare.  

After cracking this examination students can get recognized by medical qualifications which are awarded by the (NBE) National Board of Examination which is an autonomous academic body.

The rank secured by a student decides whether students has been qualified or not qualified. Successful students have to participate in a Centralized merit-based counselling organized by NBE for allotment of DNB seats at NBE (National Board of Examinations) accredited Institutions/ medical hospitals/colleges as per availability at their merit.

Eligibility Criteria:

NEET-PG is conducted annually by the NBE (National Board of Examinations). It is conducted online mode. The marks scored in this exam considered for post-MBBS DNB courses.

Students must have completed MBBS degree course or provisional MBBS registration certificate issued by the NMC/ State Medical Council or Medical Council of India are eligible to apply.

Students must have completed one year of internship may appear in NEET-PG.

There is no upper age limit to apply for the NEET-PG exam.

Application Form Fill-out Process:

Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date for registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.

  1. Visit the official website of NBE (National Board of Examinations).
  2. After that click on the "NEET PG Registration 2023" link.
  3. Read the instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.
  4. Fill-up all the necessary details in the application form carefully.
  5. Upload your signature, scanned photograph, thumb impression and all the necessary documents in the application form.
  6. Pay the application fee via online mode.
  7. Submit the application form before the last date of registration.

DNB CET  Syllabus

The NEET 2023 syllabus is divided into para-clinical subjects and preclinical subjects and then further into clinical subjects. They are mentioned below:

Pre-clinical Subjects: - Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry

Para-Clinical Subjects: - Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Social and Preventive Medicine, Forensic Medicine

Clinical Subjects: - ENT, Surgery, Orthopaedics and Anaesthesia, Medicine Dermatology and Venereology, Radiodiagnosis, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology

DNB CET  Exam Dates

Exam Dates:

The NEET PG 2023 is an entrance exam conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations) for admission to various MCh/DNB/MD/MS Super Specialty Courses offered and it is a computer-based test (online) that has been conducted in various cities across India.

Students wishing to appear for the exam must meet the eligibility conditions of the exam. The NEET PG 2023 exam has been conducted on 5th March 2023 and results had declared on 14th March 2023.

Exam Admit Card:

The NEET PG Exam 2023 Admit Card was available on the National Board of Examinations official website on 27th February 2023. Students can access their hall ticket by logging in with their login id and password.

Steps to Get Admit card:

  1. Go to the official website of 27th February 2023
  2. Then after click on the " NEET PG Admit Card" link.
  3. Enter your login id and password.
  4. Click on the "Submit" button.
  5. Admit card/Hall ticket will be shown on the screen.
  6. Download and print your Admit card/Hall ticket for future reference.

Students are suggested to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam date. Without the admit-card, students are not permitted for the exam.

The NEET-PG Exam Result 2023 has been declared on the official website of NBE on 14th March 2023.  Aspirants can check their results by using their login id and password.

  3. Enter your login id and password.
  4. There is “Submit" button option click on it.
  5. Your result will be appeared on the screen.
