Bachelors in CA (Chartered Accountancy) Eligibility & Entrance exam
Eligibility Criteria for CA (Chartered Accountancy) course:
The CA (Chartered Accountant) course offered by the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) includes three levels along with Article ships:
CA (Chartered Accountant) Foundation
CA (Chartered Accountant) Intermediate
CA (Chartered Accountant) Final
Candidates who have completed class 10+2 in Commerce stream from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible to appear in Foundation Programme. Candidates who have qualify the CA Foundation exam with a minimum of 50% can register through Direct Entry scheme for Intermediate course.
Or
Candidates who have completed Graduation/ Post Graduation in Commerce and obtained minimum 55% marks can register directly for CA (Chartered Accountant) Intermediate without appearing in CA Foundation or CPT.
Or
Non-commerce students who have completed Graduation/ Post Graduation can also register for Intermediate by obtaining 60% aggregate marks in Graduation/ Post Graduation level.
Candidates who have qualified both the groups of CA Intermediate course and two and half years of Articleship training can apply for the CA (Chartered Accountant) Final course.
Entrance exam for CA (Chartered Accountancy) course:
Admission into ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) CA (Chartered Accountant) programme is open throughout the year but the deadlines are set.
Candidates who want to appear in Foundation Programme exam for May attempt have to register themselves till Jan 1 and students who wants to appear in the November exam have to register themselves till July 1.
Candidates who want to join CA Intermediate course have to register themselves for May session till September 1 and for November session have to register themselves till March 1.
In order to pursue CA (Chartered Accountant) course, applicants need to follow following footsteps.
Visit the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) official Website.
Then after you have to create a new account by filling basic details, such as contact number, name, and Email id.
After successful filling the application form students will receive an email of OTP to complete the verification process.
Now candidates have to login credentials and click on “Apply for the foundation.
Now on your screen the registration form will appear.
After that enter the mandatory details and then click on next.
Then after upload the required documents.
Click on it and Save Next.
Finally, candidates have to pay the registration fees of the programme.
The procedure of CA Foundation Programme is similar to CA Intermediate Programme and CA Final, Programme. In the CA Intermediate and Final, Programme details will be auto-filled, candidates only need to log in with the same ID and Registration to upload the various documents.
