West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) was established in the year 1962 and conducts OMR based JENPAS UG (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Course) and counselling for admission in several Colleges/ Institutes in the West Bengal State for the academic session 2023-24 into the following Undergraduate Courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants are requested to check the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. Form with the incorrect information will be rejected in the admission process at any stage and no grievances will be entertained by the institute in this regard.

Students must have completed class 10+2 in relevant stream and obtained 45 % aggregate marks (40 % in case of SC/ST students) from a recognised board are eligible to apply.

Students must be a domicile of West Bengal State.

To apply for the exam, students must be an Indian citizen.

Age limit: -

There is no minimum age required to apply for the JENPAS UG (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Course) is 17 years.

For B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing) and B.V.S.O (Bachelor of Vision Sciences and Optometry) courses, the upper age limit is 35.

No upper age limit for B.P.T. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy).

For B.M.L.T (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology), B.Sc. OTT (B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology), B.Sc. CCT (B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology), B.Sc. PA (B.Sc. in Physician Assistant), B.Sc. PT (B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology), B.Sc. MMB (B. Sc. In Medical Microbiology), B.H.A. (Bachelor in Hospital Administration) courses the upper age limit is 40.

Note: -

Under JENPAS UG (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Course) only female students are eligible for Government colleges for B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing) course.

Both boys and girls students are eligible for Private colleges for B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing) course.

For all other courses other than B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing), both boys and girls’ students are applicable in Private colleges and Government colleges.

Application Form Fill-out Process:

Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date for registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.

  1. Visit the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).
  2. After that click on the JENPAS UG -2023 admission portal and " New Registration" link.
  3. Read the instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.
  4. Fill-up all the necessary details in the application form carefully.
  5. Upload your signature, scanned photograph, thumb impression and all the necessary documents in the application form.
  6. Pay the application fee via online mode.
  7. Submit the application form before the last date of registration.

Application Fees: -

Students who wish to apply for the JENPAS UG -2023 (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Course), may pay the applicable fee through the online gateway of debit or credit card which is a non-refundable amount.

Solid state: Classification of solids such as ionic, molecular, covalent and metallic solids, crystalline and amorphous solids.

Solutions: the solubility of the gas in solid and liquids solutions, Types of solutions, colligative properties.

Electrochemistry: Electrolytic solutions, Redox reaction, electrolysis and laws of electrolysis, Standard Kohlrausch's Law, electrode potential.

Chemical Kinetics: factors affecting the rate of a temperature, reaction, and molecularity of a reaction, rate of a reaction.

Surface Chemistry: Chemisorption, Adsorption, enzyme catalysis, Catalysis of homogenous and heterogeneous, colloid properties, types of emulsions, electrophoresis.

Physics-

Electrostatics - Electric field, Electric charges, Electric flux, potential difference, Electric potential, Conductors, free charges, Insulators, equipotential surfaces, bound charges, Continuous charge distribution, Superposition principle, Dipole and a system of charges.

Current Electricity - Electric current, mobility, velocity, Ohms law, conductivity, electrical resistivity, temperature dependence, carbon resistors, Potentiometer - concepts and applications, Kircchoff's laws and simple applications.

Magnetic effects of Current and Magnetism - Biot-Savart Law, Magnetic field, Ampere's Law, Current loop as a magnetic dipole, Cyclotron, Electromagnetic and factors affecting them.

Electromagnetic induction and alternation of currents- Lenz Law, Faraday's law, Self and mutual inductance, power in AC circuits, LCR Series circuit, AC Generator and transformer

Ecology: Organisms and environment.

Logical Reasoning- Sequencing and Arrangement, Passage Conclusion, Fact Inference Judgment, Statement Argument, Analogy and among others.

Basic English- Comprehension odd-one-out, word choice/sentence correction, grammar, synonyms and antonyms, Vocabulary based questions, Verbal Ability and Reading comprehension passages, General English section.

Mathematics- Sets, Relations and Mappings, Algebra, Logarithms, Complex Numbers, Arithmetic Progression G.P. and H.P, Polynomial Equation, Permutation and Combination, Principle of Mathematical Induction, etc.

Exam Dates:

The JENPAS UG -2023 (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Course) is a state level entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for admission into various Undergraduate Courses in pen-paper based test (offline) mode.

Students wishing to appear for the exam must meet the eligibility conditions of the exam. JENPAS UG 2023 exam has been conducted on 11 Jun 2023 and results will be declared soon on website.

Exam Admit Card:

The JENPAS UG -2023 (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Course) Admit Card was available on the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) on 02 – 11 Jun 2023. Students can access their hall ticket by logging in with their login id and password.

Steps to Get Admit card:

  1. Go to the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).
  2. Then after click on the " JENPAS UG -2023 Admit Card" link.
  3. Enter your login id and password.
  4. Click on the "Submit" button.
  5. Admit card/Hall ticket will be shown on the screen.
  6. Download and print your Admit card/Hall ticket for future reference.

Students are suggested to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam date. Without the admit-card, students are not permitted for the exam.

Exam Centres:

JENPAS UG -2023 (Joint Entrance Test for Nursing Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate Course) exam centres are across the West Bengal State and it is a pen-paper based Test (offline mode) which is conducted at state level.
