About NSDL Scholarship:
National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) offered a scholarship programmed named NSDL Siksha Sahyog Yojna for the students from all over the India who are economically weak and not able to complete their education due to high fees. Students can apply through the online portal named, Vidhyasaarthi portal. The NSDL e-governance scheme is designed for the students who want to pursue graduate degree in Science, commerce , arts and other streams.
NSDL Scholarship Eligibility criteria
There are the following eligibility criteria to apply for the NSDL siksha sahyog yojna are:
- Student must be resident of India.
- For ITI student must have 35% marks in SSC examination.
- For Undergraduate courses students must have 50% marks in HSC examination.
- For BE/ Btech students must have 50% in HSC examinations or 50% in Diploma.
- For diploma students must have 50% in SSC or equivalent exam.
- Annual income of applicant must be below INR 50,000.
NSDL Scholarships Rewards and Benefits
Here are the rewards and benefits received by student under NSDL scheme are:
- Amount received is less than or equal to the fee receipt.
- NSDL scholarship amount starts from INR 5,000
- For Diploma students amount received is INR 20,000
- For ITI , NSDL offers amount of INR20,000
- For BE/B.Tech student receive amount up to INR75,000
- For other graduate degree student can get amount up to 10,000 and for PG courses up to 12,000.
How to apply for NSDL Scholarship?
To apply for NSDL scholarship students must to visit the official portal named Vidhyasaarathi. Register on the portal by apply now tab. Here are the process of applying for scholarships are :
- Visit to the official website (Vidhyasaarathi)
- Log in through credentials obtained after registering.
- Click on the tab named Apply for Scholarship.
- Fill the details in application form.
- After filling details attach all the necessary documents.
- After this Submit the applications form.
- You can get various scholarship details along with registered institutes with NSDL, Choose them wisely according to you education level.
Documents required for NSDL Scholarship
Here are the lists of all necessary documents required in application form of the NSDL scholarship are:
- Domicile certificate
- Address proof
- ID proof
- Class 10 and class 12 mark sheets
- Passing mark sheet of 1st year (for 2nd-year students)
- Passing mark sheet of 2nd year (for 3rd-year students)
- Admission confirmation letter
- Copy of the bank passbook
- College fee receipts
- Latest Income certificate of the candidate’s parent/guardian
- PAN card, voter id, passport (optional)
