How to apply?
Candidates for admission to BA, B.Com, and B.Sc degrees must have completed HSC with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised board.
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks is required for admission to PG courses.
All UG and PG courses are chosen based on merit in the previous qualifying exams.
The University's entrance exam is used to determine admission to the Ph.D programme.

The Akal University Training & Placement Cell is at the forefront of operations, bringing corporations close to campus and encouraging them to create facilities to meet the needs of students. Sporting Venues:
Every year, Akal University has an Annual Athletics Meet, which includes events such as the 100m, 400m, 800m, and 3000m running races, as well as the Long Jump, Tug-of-War, High Jump, Relay Race, Javelin Throw, and Discus Throw.

Hostels:
Boys and females have separate hostels at AU.

Scholarships:
Akal Bhatinda Scholarships are given to students based on the following criteria:
Scholarships for Meritorious Students: Kalgidhar Society awards scholarships to economically disadvantaged and meritorious students in all programmes. UG students are selected based on their Class 12 grades, while PG students are selected based on their UG grades.
Minority Community Scholarships: This is a federally funded programme that provides financial support to deserving students from minority communities (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, and Parsis).
Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students: The Punjab Government provides scholarships to Punjab Domicile students who belong to Scheduled Caste sections.
Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Other Backward Class Students: Under this scheme, Punjab Domicile students from Backward Classes are provided with scholarships by the Punjab government.
