The Jodhpur Agricultural University was established by the Government of Rajasthan on 14 September 2013 under the Jodhpur Agricultural University Act No. 21 of 2013 and covers the arid and semi-arid regions of the state in 6 districts (Jodhpur, Barmer, Nagor and Paris). Focus on comprehensive development Jalore and Shirohi) occupy 28% of the total geographical area and support 20.8% of the human and animal population of the state. The jurisdiction of this university includes three agro-ecological zones of the state. These are Western Dry Plain Zone Ia (Jodhpur and Balmer District), Transition Plain of Loni Basin Zone IIb (Jalur, Pali and Sirohi District) and part of Transition Plains of Internal Drainage Zone IIa (Nagur District). The university has one degree-granting institute and three faculties, plus two agricultural research stations (one each in regions Ia and IIb) to produce personnel with higher education in agriculture and related sciences and three agricultural research posts (one in each region) for It is preparation. One school each in Balmer, Jalore and Shirohi districts. The various departments of education, research and extension are coordinated to be systematically managed by the headquarters at Mandol, Jodhpur.

The cutoff for various courses at Agriculture University are not predetermined. It is determined after considering a number of factors. The criteria to determine the cutoffs are as follows:

The number of seats available for that.
Need to crack the entrance test.
The performance of the candidates in the entrance test.

Students are selected for this university through JET (Rajasthan) examination and ICAR level of India. Kribaco and IFCO are the main players in this field. All students get a minimum of Rs. 30,000 Rs.40,000 per month.
The B.Sc (Hons) course is a professional course. After completing this course, you can write "doctor" in front of your name. After completing this course, you will get minimum salary package of 3.6 LPA. With this degree you can start a business and get a job in companies like IFFCO, Kribhco etc.
The infrastructure of the university building is very good and well ventilated. Wi-Fi is available on campus. The classes are very high technology and well ventilated. The university library is neat, clean and quiet. All necessary laboratories are located in the university campus.
E-Classrooms are available in the university. The classroom is well ventilated. Facilities such as Wi-Fi, all laboratories, libraries, health insurance facilities, playgrounds and sports equipment needed for this course are available. University also has good dormitory facilities. The food served in the hostel mess and university cafeteria is very good.
The laboratory is well maintained. The library has a good collection of books. We also have a variety of newspapers in the library. You can also enjoy sports and games. We do not have dormitories on campus. Digital boards and projectors are also available.
Currently There's no such scholarship facility given by the university. However, there are banks that help out students in need by providing them student loans at a nominal rate of interest easily at any national bank's branch.

As per our research students from 3rd year (5th semester) students are eligible for campus placement. In cyber security minimum of 12 lakh package and the highest 1 crore package can get. So many students are doing a cyber security job for any national/international company.
