For admission to the PG courses, the university conducts an entrance examination. Candidates need to apply through offline mode. Application forms are available at the university campus and the university’s official web portal. They select the candidates based on their academics and the result of the entrance examination. The university also gives reservations for candidates who come from Kannada medium. For MBA students, admission is based on the national level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, and Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Based on the entrance examination ranking the seats will be allocated.

The university is tied up with various companies like the chemical industry, zoological pharmaceutical industries, Automobiles, IT companies, etc. They also provide internship opportunities for students. They have a dedicated placement wing that trains students for the interview.
The campus is surrounded by lush greenery and spread across 72.14 acres of land. The campus consists of an admin block, Bio-science, New Science, MBA, and Humanities blocks, Knowledge Plaza, an open-air theatre, a guest house, 6 hostels and two canteens. The campus also consists of an outdoor playground, indoor game stadium, Gym, Health Centre, Post office, SBI bank and ATM, NSS Unit, laboratories, language labs, and seminar halls. The PG Centre Janan Gangotri was established in the year 2010, situated at Guddada Raghuvanahalli on Solapur National Highway. The location is situated for easy access to higher education for students from rural, remote, and backward areas of this region.
The university considers scholarships for deserving candidates. It will consider scholarships which are sanctioned by the Karnataka state government. Students who topped the examination or sc/st can apply for scholarships.
