Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) was founded in 1954 on the campus of the Delhi School of Economics. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited it. FMS New Delhi offers a full-time two-year MBA programme. Aside from that, FMS Delhi offers PG courses in MBA Executive and MBA Executive (Health Care Administration). Placement
FMS Delhi has observed 100% of its summer placements for the 2022-24 class. Furthermore, during the FMS Delhi summer placements 2022-24 batch, the highest and average stipends were INR 4.4 lakh and INR 3.02 lakh, respectively. Furthermore, during the FMS Delhi summer placements for the 2022-24 batch, 89 companies visited the campus, and 311 offers were made. The top recruiters are BCG, E&Y, KPMG, HUL, and Deloitte.
The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is located on the North Campus of the University of Delhi. To meet the needs of students, the campus has a well-maintained infrastructure with modern amenities. Classrooms, seminar halls, conference rooms, faculty offices, a computer centre, a library, a placement cell, an auditorium, and a canteen are all located in the FMS building. To assist successful teaching and learning, the classrooms are outfitted with projectors and other modern teaching tools.
Students enrolled in the MBA (Full-Time) Programme have access to dormitory accommodations in the University of Delhi's Post Graduate hostels. Hostels have basic amenities such as water purifiers, a common area, a leisure room, a mess, laundry services, a security and monitoring system, etc.
Scolarships:
MBA students are offered various scholarships by the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) to assist them in paying for their studies.
Scholarship 1: FMS provides MBA students with a variety of scholarships, including the OPJEMS scholarship, the Aditya Birla award, and the NTPC scholarship. These scholarships are sponsored by a variety of organisations and are given to worthy students based on their academic performance, financial need, and other criteria established by the sponsoring organisation.
Scholarship 2: FMS also offers government scholarships to MBA students. The Central Government Scholarship for SC/ST Students is one such scholarship. Students from the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) groups who are pursuing postgraduate education, including MBA, and have a valid SC/ST certificate issued by a competent institution are eligible for this scholarship.
