The MBA programme at IIFT is selected based on the results of the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). The selection procedure is divided into two stages:
Shortlisting
Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the IIFT Entrance Exam, diversity factor, and past academic performance.
IIFT Test
The IIFT Entrance Test is a sort of objective test.
The test lasts 120 minutes.
It comprises of 110 multiple-choice questions.
It includes questions based on the following topics: Quantitative Analysis, Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness are also required skills.
Final Selection at Stage 2
Candidates who are shortlisted in Stage 1 must attend WAT, GD, and PI. The performance in these rounds determines the ultimate selection.
For IIFT admission 2023, the overall cutoff scores for General category candidates are 40.5, while the selectional cutoff percentile is 40. 3948 applicants qualified for the second stage of the admissions process. The list of shortlisted candidates is announced by IIFT based on academic performance and IIFT Entrance Exam results.
