Placements:
IIM Bangalore placements 2023 were completed with a 100% placement rate. For the PGP + PGPBA batch of 2021-23, 164 recruiters offered a total of 606 offers to 512 participating students, 14 of which were international offers. During the 2023 placements, 82 of 94 lateral placement offers were accepted.
221 offers were made during the final week of the placement drive. A total of 291 Pre-placement offers were made, with 209 of them being accepted. For the batch 2023, the average package at IIM Bangalore was INR 35.31 LPA, while the median package was INR 33 LPA. The Consulting sector employed the greatest number of students (40%) followed by IT/Product Management (14%).
B. V. Doshi, the Pritzker Prize-winning architect, designed IIM Bangalore. Mr Doshi, a Padma Bhushan recipient, earlier worked with Louis Kahn on the design of IIM Ahmedabad and then designed the famed Ahmadabad School of Architecture (later renamed CEPT). As a result, he was commissioned to design IIM Bangalore. IIM Bangalore's architecture is inspired by the old city of Fatehpur Sikri near Agra and the Madurai temples in Tamil Nadu. The 54,000 sq mt IIMB complex is constructed of granite stone, lending the campus a distinct character. The campus' conceptualization began in 1973 and was finished in 1983.[12] The once-deserted property has transformed into a lush green sanctuary teeming with rich and diverse flora and fauna.

Scholarship for IIMB PGP Alumni from the First Batch (1976)
This fellowship is awarded to a differently-abled female PGP student at IIM Bangalore. The award is designed to help a differently-abled female student (or a differently-abled male student if no eligible female students exist).
The IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch (1976) Scholarship honours the PGP batch of 1976 and their connection with the institute. The scholarship comprises a 75,000 INR reimbursement, a medallion, and a certificate.
NTPC Scholarship Programme
Students from the SC/ST/PWD categories who are in their second year of management studies and have completed the first-year examination in one attempt are eligible for the scholarship.
Scholarship for Social Sector Employment
At the end of each year, the scholarship recipient receives one-third of the fees. The award is granted for the first three years of work contribution in the social sector.
Aditya Birla Fellowship
This is a merit-based scholarship available to PGP 1st and 2nd year students. Students who qualify to be in the top 25% of their class in the second year are eligible to extend their scholarships. The Aditya Birla Scholarship amount at IIM Bangalore is INR 1.75 lakh per student.
