IMI New Delhi was founded in 1981 as India's first corporate-sponsored business school. It was set up in cooperation with IMD Lausanne (formerly known as IMI), it quickly carved a niche for itself as a knowledge hub and training ground for aspiring managers. Initially, the emphasis was on training programmes for managers at all levels. Later, it launched a full-time one-year programme, which is still going strong. With the changing business scenario, the need of the hour was to investigate more rigorous programmes, which resulted in the launch of the two-year plan. IMI Delhi Admission 2023 for its PGDM courses is now open. IMI Delhi will accept XAT/CAT results for PGDM admission in 2023. IMI Delhi's average cutoff is 90%. IMI Delhi is also taking applications for its 15-month MBA Executive Programme.
IMI Delhi's PGDM programme The first shortlist will be released based on CAT/ XAT scores and academic performance. Academic performance, extempore speaking, psychometric test, essay writing, and personal interview will be used to make the final decision. IMI Delhi also provides PGDM Human Resource Management (HRM), PGDM Banking & Financial Services (B&FS), EPGDM, and Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM) in addition to PGDM. Candidates with a minimum of five years of post-qualification work experience can apply for the PGDM Executive and FPM programmes.
For admission to its management programmes, the International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi accepts CAT, GMAT, and XAT scores. The cut-off percentile for the CAT test for the PGDM program in 2022 was 85 percentile for general category students and 75 percentile for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category. The cut-off percentile for the GMAT and XAT exams, on the other hand, may fluctuate from year to year. The 2023 placements featured over 100 companies and more than 40 first-time recruiters. Students also received three overseas offers. The average package at IMI Delhi was INR 17.01 LPA. The maximum and median packages available were INR 50 LPA and INR 16.33 LPA, respectively.
The summer placement report for the class of 2021-23 is also available. Over 90 companies took part, with 100% of the batch receiving internships. The highest and average stipends offered for two months were INR 2.40 lakh and INR 83,400, respectively.

Scholarship for Pre-Admission: There are three sorts of Pre-Admission Scholarships available to eligible students. However, candidates must understand that any of the three options are available and that not all of them can be applied for by the same person. Aspirants should also be aware that 50% of the scholarship can be disbursed.
Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to individuals who have obtained at least 75% on their admission tests, such as the CAT, XAT, GMAT, and CMAT. Aside from that, the eligibility criteria include a previous stellar educational career. The university will give a scholarship of up to one lakh rupees to students who meet these conditions.
Merit Scholarship for Women Candidates: This scholarship is available to all female applicants to the International Management Institute (IMI) who have received a minimum of 75% in their admission tests and have a first-rate educational track record. Female candidates who meet the following conditions will get an additional 20% merit scholarship.
Candidates with a defence history or wards of a defence personnel are also eligible for scholarship.
Results
Various ranking agencies, including NIRF, Outlook, and Business Today, have consistently ranked IMI Delhi among the top management institutes in the country.
