Admission Process 2023
Admission to MDI Gurgaon is a three-stage process for its flagship PGDM, PGDM-HRM, and PGDM-IB programmes, as detailed below:
Stage 1: Eligibility verification and application
The student must register in order to apply to MDI Gurgaon before the CAT exam, which is held in the last week of November. Any student who meets the following criteria is eligible to apply: Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years for PGDM and PGDM-HRM; minimum 4 years for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both classes X and XII. Candidates taking their final Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent examination) may also apply to the PGDM and PGDM-HRM programmes. Applicants to the PGDM-IB programme must have a minimum of one year (one academic year) of work experience.
Stage 2: Selection
Candidates for the GD-PI Round are chosen from among those who have a valid CAT-2022 score, have applied for admission to MDI Gurgaon, and meet the program's eligibility requirements.
Shortlisted candidates must log on to the MDI website and input their programme preference order for PGPM/PGP-IB/PGP-HRM. Once entered, preferences cannot be modified at any time.
Stage 3: Final Decision
Following the GD-PI round, which will take place between February and April, successful candidates will receive final admission offers in April. The final selection is based on a variety of factors, including CAT score, GD-PI performance, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, and job experience, among
