National Institute of Ayurveda (De novo), considered as a university, is the apex independent laboratory under the auspices of the Ministry of Ayurveda, Government of India. NIA received the status of a Deemed University in the De novo category on November 13, 2020 (...Ayurveda Day) and was dedicated to the nation by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. NIA is the first Central Government funded institution to be declared as Deemed University in the field of AYUSH. NIA currently offers academic programs at all levels: Bachelor (BAMS), Graduate (MD/MS in Ayurveda), Doctorate (PhD in Ayurveda) and Diploma (DAN&P). In addition, NIA is the only institute to offer six interdisciplinary master's degrees in Ayurveda. the period. NIA also offers a number of certificates and short courses related to Ayurveda. NIA has a 260 bedded NABH accredited hospital which provides the highest quality OPD and IPD services to the public. National Institute of Ayurveda Jaipur Admission process 2024

For BAMS
The institute offers BAMS in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery at the undergraduate level. Candidates who pass the 2+10 exam with 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology and recognized board specializations are eligible to apply for BAMS.


Forms
The institute offers master's programs in 14 specializations with a total of 104 seats in the master's level. For MS, candidates must have a BAMS degree from a recognized institution and have completed an internship.


For MD
Candidates who wish to attend MD course of the institution must have BAMS degree from a recognized institution and valid NIA JJPGET exam score card.


For Doctoral Courses

This institute was announced by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi ji on the occasion of 5th Ayurveda Day on 13 October 2020 under University (de novo category). Henceforth courses and programs are run by universities recognized by NIA.
Earlier, the institute was affiliated to Saropari Radhakrishnan Ayurvedic University of Rajasthan, Jodhpur for academic and experimental purposes and followed the curriculum and syllabus prescribed by the Central Medical Council of India approved by the University.
The directors and teachers of the institute are well present in various bodies of the university such as the board of directors, academic council, faculty of Ayurveda, research committee, etc. and provide valuable suggestions, opinions and expertise for development. at all times. This university conducts the research of Rajasthan Universities and affiliated Ayurvedic Universities and Institutes in various aspects.
