Candidates seeking admission to M. Phil. / Ph. D. programmes at Om Sterling Global University (OSGU) must apply on a designated application form by the deadline announced by OSGU.
The DRC will review the applications and choose an appropriate number of candidates for a written entrance exam - the Research Aptitude Test (RAT).
Candidates must pass the entrance examination with at least 50% marks.
Candidates who have a valid score in national examinations such as the UGC-CSIR (JRF) examination / NET/ SLET/ GATE/ teacher fellowship holder or who have completed the M. Phil degree would be excluded from taking the admission exam.
The selection process shall follow UGC guidelines.

Scholarships are given to deserving students by OSGU. OSGU has been administering the SAT (Scholarship Aptitude Test), the world's most popular educational provider, since 2019. Students can apply for a range of scholarships based on their academic qualifications as well as their achievements in sports and the arts. Students might receive full or partial tuition fee waivers from the university.
Scholarships are also awarded based on the candidates' success in the qualifying examinations.
Students who have succeeded in sports at the state and national levels are eligible for sports scholarships ranging from 10% to 80%.
