Undergraduate Programmes
Admission to all UG degrees, such as BBA and BBA (Hons), is dependent on a valid score in the Class 12 qualifying exams.

Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their eligibility must take an admission exam (conducted by the University on its premises), followed by a Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates who have passed the UGC NET/CSIR NET (JRF), SET/SLET, GATE, or any other examination judged comparable by AIU, or students with an MPhil degree, are excluded from taking the CMR University PhD entrance exam.

In 2019, the CAT (Common Admission Test) cutoff percentile for the General category with All India (GN-AI) rank was fixed at 40. This means that candidates with CAT scores equal to or higher than 40% were eligible for admission to the MBA programme.
For CAT, the cutoff percentile remained at 40 in 2020. Admission to the MBA programme was considered for candidates having a percentile score of 40 or higher.
The CAT cutoff percentile for the General category remained at 40 in 2021.
