To pursue Bachelor of Optometry course, candidates need to fulfil following eligibility conditions.

Students must have completed class 10+2 with science stream (PCM/PCB) with minimum 50 % aggregate marks (45 % marks for SC/ST) from CBSE/ICSE or any other recognised board are eligible to apply.

Few colleges offer admission through lateral admission procedure and for that students must have completed Diploma course in Optometry of minimum two years duration from a recognized Institute by Indian Optometric Association.
