Diploma in Photography Eligibility & Entrance exam
Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Photography course:
To pursue Diploma in Photography course, candidates need to fulfil following eligibility conditions.
Students must have completed class 10+2 in any stream (commerce, science, arts) from CBSE/ICSE or any other recognised board are eligible to apply.
Students must have obtained minimum 50 % aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in class 10+2.
There is no age limit to apply for the Diploma in Photography course.
Entrance exam for Diploma in Photography course:
In general, admission for Diploma in Photography course gets on academic performance. There is no such common entrance-based exam at diploma level courses for photography in India.
While few other colleges and universities provide admission on entrance tests basis which is conducted by them such as Asian Academy of Film and Television conducts AAFT GEE (global entrance exam) and CHIPF entrance exam conducted by Creative Hut Institute of Photography and Film. The entrance exam is followed by personal interview.
But for that students need to follow the following steps.
Candidates have to first register themselves by filling basic information like an email address, phone number and so on.
Fill out the complete application form with all necessary information with accuracy
Then after scan and upload papers/documents such as signatures mark sheets, photos and it should be in a certain format.
Students can do their application fee payment via both online and offline modes.
After submission of an application form, college will verify the eligibility condition and then issue the admit cards, students have to download and print their hall ticket which is required in order to appear in an entrance exam.
After the conduction of an entrance exam, results will be declared by the college, in case students qualifies the entrance exam he/she will go to the second round.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of minimum cut-off marks and invited for counselling. And on the basis of cut off marks and counselling college will decide to allot a seat or not to candidate.
