About CLAT PG (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates)
PG-CLAT (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates) is a national level entrance exam for admissions into postgraduate (PG) courses conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities and offered at 22 National Law Universities across India. Several organisations and affiliate universities also use the CLAT exam scores for admissions respectively. All admissions to the one-year duration LLM course shall be through the PG-CLAT which commence in the academic year 2024.
The students have to fill the applications form online but the exam takes place in pen-paper (offline) based mode.

CLAT PG Application Form
Eligibility Criteria:
Aspirants are requested to check the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. Form with the incorrect information will be rejected in the admission process at any stage and no grievances will be entertained by the institute in this regard.
Students must hold a LL.B./B.L. 3/5 Year degree from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks for General/ PWD/OBC/ PIO/NRI/ OCI and 45 % marks for SC/ST students are eligible to apply.
Students awaiting their final year results are also eligible to apply.
There is no minimum age required to apply for the PG-CLAT 2024 exam.
To apply for the exam, students must be an Indian citizen.
There is a tie breaker rule which means in case of equal marks, tie breaker rule will apply in the following order and procedure as under:
i. Higher age;
ii. Computerised draw of lots.
Application Form Fill-out Process:
Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only and Candidates can apply by following the process given below.
- Visit the official website - Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs).
- After that click on the PG-CLAT 2024 admission portal and " New Registration" link.
- Read the instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.
- Fill-up all the necessary details in the application form carefully.
- Upload your signature, scanned photograph, thumb impression and all the necessary documents in the application form.
- Pay the application fee via online mode.
- Submit the application form before the last date of registration.
Application Fees: -
Students who wish to apply for the PG-CLAT (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates), may pay the applicable fee through the online gateway of debit or credit card which is a non-refundable amount.
Application fee for General/ PWD/OBC/ NRI students: Rs.4,000/-
Application fee for ST/SC/ BPL category students: Rs.3,500/-
The cost is Rs.500/- of previous years' question papers (not included in the application fee of CLAT 2024 is Rs.3,500/- or Rs.4,000/- as the case may be.)
For remitting the fee online, students have to bear the bank transaction charges. The actual bank transaction charges will be displayed after the students select the mode of payment in the payment gateway page.
CLAT PG Syllabus
Syllabus:
Before appearing in PG-CLAT-2024 (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates) conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs), students must check the syllabus given below:
The questions based on the compulsory subjects of the undergraduate course and include Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Torts, Law of Contract, Property Law, Family Law, Criminal Law, Company Law, Environmental Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, and Labour & Industrial Law.
Objective Section
In this section questions will be asked from primary legal materials like important court decisions in different fields of law, regulations or statutes. Each passage followed by questions which will require to demonstrate the:
Ability to comprehend and read the problems discussed in the passage, as well as viewpoints and any arguments set or discussed out in the passage;
Summarise the passage;
Awareness of the problems discussed in the passage, as well as of legal problems and facts regarding and arising out of the passage and the statute or judgment from which it is extracted and;
Ability to apply your skills and knowledge of law discussed in the passage.

The PG-CLAT-2024 (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates) is an entrance exam conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions into postgraduate (PG) courses offered at 22 National Law Universities across India. The exam conducts in pen-paper (offline) based mode.
Students wishing to appear for the exam must meet the eligibility conditions of the exam. For the PG law courses, the PG-CLAT-2024 exam will be conducted on 3rd December, 2024 and results will be declared in last week of December, 2024.

CLAT PG Admit Card
Exam Admit Card:
The PG-CLAT-2024 (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates) Admit Card will be available on the official website of Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) few days before the conduction of exam. Students can access their hall ticket by logging in with their login id and password.
Steps to Get Admit card:
- Go to the official website of Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs).
- Then after click on the " PG-CLAT-2024 Admit Card" link.
- Enter your login id and password.
- Click on the "Submit" button.
- Admit card/Hall ticket will be shown on the screen.
- Download and print your Admit card/Hall ticket for future reference.
Students are suggested to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam date. Without the admit-card, students are not permitted for the exam.
CLAT PG Exam Centres
Exam Centres:
PG-CLAT-2024 (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates) exam centres are various across the country and it is a pen-paper based test (offline) which is conducted at national level. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the PG-CLAT-2024 exam, students will be allotted exam centres as per their availability of seats and preference in the preferred exam centres. Students can check the designated exam centre on their hall ticket/ admit card.

The PG-CLAT-2024 (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates) will be declared on the official website of Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) in last week of December. Aspirants can check their results by using their login id and password.
Steps to get Result:

- Then after click on the " PG-CLAT-2024 Results" link.
- Enter your login id and password.
- There is “Submit" button option click on it.
- Your result will be appeared on the screen.
- For future reference download your result.
CLAT PG Cut Off
Exam Cut-off:
The cut-off for PG-CLAT-2024 (Common Law Admission Test for Post Graduates) will be affected by a number of factors such as availability of seats available, the number of students appeared in the exam and exam difficulty level.
Given below is CLAT LLM Cutoffs of the last year. CLAT PG 2024 cut-off is expected to lies in the range between 80 to 90.
