About JIPMER PG (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research -Post Graduate)
JIPMER is situated at Pondicherry and it is under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, direct administrative control of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India. It is both an educational institute which provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate medical training courses and a working hospital too.
JIPMER used to conduct JIPMER-PG Exam for the student’s seeking admission in 6 years PG medical courses such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh).
But JIPMER-PG Exam has been replaced by INI CET and INI-SS exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi to provide admissions into its six -year PG medical courses such as DM/ M.Ch. and three-year MD/ MS/ MDS courses. For six-year courses, admission is offered to students via INI CET whereas for three-year programmes, it will be offered via INI SS.
INI CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) and INI SS (Institute of National Importance Super Speciality) examination is organized twice a year, January and July session.

JIPMER PG Entrance Exam Application Form
Eligibility Criteria:
For INI-CET: -
To appear in the INI CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) 2024 conducted by AIIMS, Delhi students must follow the eligibility conditions given below.
Students must have obtained a MBBS degree for admission into MD/MS course from an institution recognised by the NMC (National Medical Commission).
General/OBC/EWS category students must have obtained minimum 55% aggregate marks in Graduation (MBBS), while SC/ST/PWD category students must obtain 50% marks.
Students should have completed one-year rotatory internship.
Medical students must have obtained a registration certificate awarded by the NMC (National Medical Commission) or the State Medical Council (SMC).
There is no minimum age limit required to apply for the AIIMS PG (All India Institute of Medical Science Post Graduate).
For INI-SS (Institute of National Importance Super Speciality) examination: -
Interested students must have completed post -graduation and holding a master’s degree in DNB or MD/ MS courses from any MCI approved board or university.
Students belong to General Category must not be more than 35 years and 3 years of age relaxation will be given to students belongs to OBC category while 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ ST category students.

Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date for registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.

- Then after click on the link “Academic Courses”
- Choose the courses from MS or MD or M. Ch or DM or MDS
- Click on the link “Click here for new registration”
- Read the instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.
- Fill-up all the necessary details in the application form carefully
- Upload your signature, scanned photograph, thumb impression and all the necessary documents in the application form.
- Pay the application fee via online mode.
- Submit the application form before the last date of registration.

Exam Admit Card:
The INI-CET and INI-SS Exam 2024 Admit Card was available on the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), official website. Students can access their hall ticket by logging in with their login id and password.
Steps to Get Admit card:
- Go to the official website of AIIMS
- Then after click on the " INI-CET Admit Card" or “ INI-SS Admit Card” link.
- Enter your login id and password.
- Click on the "Submit" button.
- Admit card/Hall ticket will be shown on the screen.
- Download and print your Admit card/Hall ticket for future reference.
Students are suggested to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam date. Without the admit-card, students are not permitted for the exam.
