The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) administers the Manipal Entrance Test (MET), an online test, to select students for admission to a range of Manipal University courses. Previously known as the Manipal University Online Entrance Exam (MU-OET), the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is a requirement for admission to many UG programmes, including BBA, B.Pharm, B.A, B.Tech, and many others. Candidates take the MET 2024 exam, which lasts two hours and has four sections: physics, chemistry, maths and english.
MET 2024 Admit Card
MET slot bookings are an important part of the exam process. Candidates must book their slots on time through the online portal, choosing a date, time, and test center that suits them. Once booked, the admit card will be issued, which is mandatory for entry into the exam hall.

MET 2024 Exam Pattern
- Test Duration: The duration of the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2024 will be 120 minutes.
- Total Questions: There will be a total of 60 questions in the exam.
- Type of Questions: The exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
Subjects and Distribution of Questions:
- Mathematics: -15 MCQs and 5 NAT questions
- Physics: -10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions
- Chemistry:- 10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions
- English: -10 MCQs
- Maximum Marks: The maximum marks for the MET 2024 exam will be 240.
Marking Scheme:
- For MCQs, candidates will be awarded +4 marks for every correct answer, and there will be a negative marking of -1 mark for every wrong answer. 0 marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
- For NAT questions, candidates will be awarded +4 marks for every correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for wrong or unanswered questions.
MET 2024 Result
MET Exam 2024 Exam Result will be available in JUNE 2024.
- Visit the Manipal Academy of Higher Education's (MAHE) official website.
- Select "MET 2024 Results" from the "Admissions" tab.
- Enter your application number and any other information that is requested.
- To view your results, click the "Submit" button.
- The findings of MET 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print the results for future reference.
MET 2024 Cut Off
The cut-off score for the MET 2024 exam decides a candidate's eligibility for admission to different Indian universities. The number of applicants, the level of exam difficulty, and the number of seats available are some of the factors that affect the cut-off. To increase their chances of being admitted, candidates should try to get scores higher than the cut-off points.
