About MUCLET (Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test)
MUCLET stands for Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test and it is a state-level entrance exam organized to provide admission in University of Mumbai for 3-year LLB and 5-year Integrated LLB courses. The MUCLET is now replaced by MHCET-Law exam and it will be conducted in online mode (computer-based) by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
Students who qualify the MHCET-Law exam organized by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra have to appear in counselling process done through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), so final selection of students done on MH CET Law scores, counselling and documentation verification rounds in 140 law colleges situated in Maharashtra state.

Eligibility Criteria:
To appear in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law (MH CET Law Entrance Exam), students need to follow the given eligibility conditions.
Integrated LLB (5 years) Course: -
Students must have passed class 10+2 examination in any stream and obtained minimum 45% marks (40 % for SC/ST category students) from recognized board are eligible.
The minimum age required to apply for the MH CET Law Entrance Exam is 17 years.
LLB (3 years) Course: -
Students must have completed Graduation and holding a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and obtained minimum 45 % marks (40 % marks for SC/ST students) from a recognised University are eligible to apply.
There is no upper age limit to apply for the exam.
To apply for the exam, students must be an Indian citizen.

Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date of registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.
- Visit the official website of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
- After that click on the " MAH-LL. B (3 Years) CET-2024 “or “MAH-LL. B (5 Years) CET-2024” and then after “New Registration " link.
- Read the instructions carefully before filling out the online application form.
- Fill-up all the necessary details in the application form carefully.
- Upload your signature, scanned photograph, thumb impression and all the necessary documents in the application form.
- Pay the application fee via online mode.
- Submit the application form before the last date of registration.

MUCLET Syllabus
Syllabus:
The syllabus of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law (MH CET Law Entrance Exam) 2024 exam includes five sections General Knowledge with Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, English, Logical and Analytical Reasoning. Detailed syllabus is given below.
Section-1: General English
This section comprises questions from topics such as Vocabulary and Grammar based questions, Verbal Ability and Reading comprehension passages, General English section.
Section-2: Mathematical Aptitude
This section comprises questions from topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, Trigonometry Sequence and Series, Number System, Mensuration, Probability, Permutations and Combinations, Logarithm, Equations, Matrices among others.
Section-3: General Knowledge with Current Affairs
This section comprises questions from topics such as Current International Affairs, Current National Affairs, Sports, Currencies, Geography, Capitals, Books & Authors and among other topics
Section-4: Analytical & Logical Reasoning
This section comprises questions from topics such as Team Selection, Sequencing and Arrangement, Passage Conclusion, Fact Inference Judgment, Statement Argument, Analogy and among others.
Section-5: Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning
This section comprises questions from topics such as Indian Penal Code, Indian Constitution, Family Law, Legal fundamentals and terms, Indian Contract Act, Important Landmark, Law of Torts, Legal Maxims, Supreme Court Judgement.

Exam Dates:
The MH CET Law Entrance Exam is conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra for admission to Integrated LLB (5 years) Course and LLB (3 years) Course offered by the law colleges of Maharashtra. The exam takes place in online mode (computer-based) conducted at state level.
Students wishing to appear for the exam must meet the eligibility conditions of the exam. MH CET Law Entrance Exam has been conducted on 20th April 2024 for Integrated LLB (5 years) course, 2nd & 3rd May 2024 for LLB (3 years) Course respectively.

MUCLET Admit Card
Exam Admit Card:
The MH CET entrance exam 2024 Admit Card was available on the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra official website on 14th April 2024 for Integrated LLB (5 years) course, 29th April 2024 for 2nd & 3rd May 2024 for LLB (3 years) Course. Students can access their hall ticket by logging in with their login id and password.
Steps to Get Admit card:
- Go to the official website of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
- Then after click on the " MAH-LL. B (3 Years) CET-2024 Admit card “or “MAH-LL. B (5 Years) CET-2024 Admit card” link.
- Enter your login id and password.
- Click on the "Submit" button.
- Admit card/Hall ticket will be shown on the screen.
- Download and print your Admit card/Hall ticket for future reference.
Students are suggested to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam date. Without the admit-card, students are not permitted for the exam.
MUCLET Exam Centres
Exam Centres: -
MH CET Law Entrance Exam for Integrated LLB (5 years) course and LLB (3 years) Course will be conducted in the selected Cities in Maharashtra as well as in outside Maharashtra State. Each Centre further have many “Venues” based on number of students appearing at that Centre.
Students appearing for CET shall give their preference for the Centre, and the examination will be conducted On-Line however, the Competent Authority reserves the right to allocate the Venue and Centre, students must bring their respective Hall ticket.
