Students must hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 45% aggregate marks from Panjab University or any other University recognized by BCI (Bar Council of India) are eligible to apply.
5% relaxation is admissible in eligibility marks to ST/SC/ BC/PwD students.
In case students holding a Bachelor’s degree of any University or this University recognized by the Syndicate, via Modern Indian Languages Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script) or Hindi or Urdu and/or in a Classical Language (Persian or Sanskrit or Arabic), the 45% aggregate marks shall be secured at the language examination, excluding the marks for the English, additional optional paper and the elective subject taken together.
There is no minimum age required to apply for the PU-PGLAW Entrance Test -2024 exam.
To apply for the exam, students must be an Indian citizen.
Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date for registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.

Current Affairs and General Knowledge: - This section comprises questions from topics such as Current International Affairs, Current National Affairs, Sports, Currencies, Geography, Capitals, Books & Authors, art & culture and Indian history social studies, politics, science & technology, sports, environment and among other topics.
Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English: - The section includes questions regarding comprehension odd-one-out, word choice/sentence correction, grammar, synonyms and antonyms, Vocabulary based questions, Verbal Ability and Reading comprehension passages, General English section, Team Selection, Sequencing and Arrangement, Passage Conclusion, Fact Inference Judgment, Statement Argument, Analogy and among others.
Legal Aptitude: - This section comprises questions from topics such as Indian Penal Code, Indian Constitution, Family Law, Legal fundamentals and terms, Indian Contract Act, Important Landmark, Law of Torts, Legal Maxims, Supreme Court Judgement, Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, Trigonometry Sequence and Series, Number System, Mensuration, Probability, Permutations and Combinations, Logarithm, Equations, Matrices and among others.
The PU-PGLAW Entrance Test -2024 (Panjab University Law Entrance Exam) is an entrance exam conducted by Panjab University to provide admission into LL.B.
