The UPESEAT 2024 exam is being conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It was established in 2024. UPES offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, management, law, and other fields. UPES administers the UPESEAT entrance exam to applicants who wants to enrol in its undergraduate engineering programmes. Students who have successfully passed their 12th class any recognized board are eligible to take the exam, which is held in two phases. The exam is divided into two sections: a multiple-choice section with 100 questions and an essay section with 20 questions. Students are evaluated on their understanding of mathematics, physics, and chemistry in the multiple-choice part. Students are selected for admission to UPES's undergraduate engineering programmes based on their UPESEAT results. Aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and petroleum engineering are among the engineering programmes that the university provides.
UPESEAT Exam Dates
The UPESEAT 2024 exam in conducted in two phases.
- Phase 1 exam date: 28th April - 2nd May 2024
- Phase 2 exam date: 3rd - 4th June 2024
UPESEAT Admit Card
- The Phase 1 slot booking dates are 19-04-2024 and 20-04-2024.
- The Phase 2 slot booking dates are 17-05-2024 and 18-05-2024.

UPESEAT Cut Off
The minimum marks required for admission to various postgraduate programmes provided by UPES are referred to as the UPESEAT test cut-off. The cut-off marks are determined by a variety of factors, including the number of candidates taking the exam, the difficulty level of the paper, prior year cut-offs, and the number of seats available for a specific programme. Following the announcement of the results, the cut-off marks are revealed, and candidates who meet the cut-off requirements are entitled to engage in the counselling procedure. Cut-off marks vary depending on the programme and candidate category.
