Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) conducts the CUSAT CAT 2024 computer-based entrance exam for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates will have three hours to finish the exam, which will likely consist of questions from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. CUSAT CET 2024 Application Form

Eligibility:

  1. Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the exam.
  2. Education: 10+2 or equivalent, with mandatory courses in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions.
  3. B.Tech Programmes: At least 50% in Mathematics and 50% in the combined subjects of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  4. B.Tech Marine Engineering: At least 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  5. B.Tech Lateral Entry: State Board of Technical Education Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc degree with Mathematics as one of the courses and a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Steps to Fill Out Application form:

  1. Visit CUSAT's official website (cusat.ac.in).
  2. Select "Common Admission Test" from the "Admissions" option.
  3. Select the "New Candidate Registration" option.
  4. Fill in the required details, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
  5. Make a password and then click the "Register" button.
  6. A verification link will be sent to your registered email address. To validate your account, Tap on the link.
  7. Log in with your registered email address and password.
  8. Select  CUSAT Common Admission Test from the Apply Online menu.
  9. Fill out the application form completely, including all needed information such as personal information, educational qualifications, and so forth.
  10. Upload your scanned photos and signature in the format and dimensions specified.
  11. Review the application form carefully and make any changes that are required.
  12. Pay the application fee using one of the provided payment methods.
  13. Print a copy of the completed application form and payment receipt for future reference.

Steps to get Admit Card:

  1. Visit the CUSAT CET 2024 official website (cusat.ac.in).
  2. Click on the link to download the admission card.
  3. Enter your registration number and password for CUSAT CET 2024.
  4. Press the "Submit" button.
  5. The screen displays your CUSAT CET 2024 Admit Card.
  6. Examine all of the information on the admission card carefully, including your name, photograph, signature, exam date and time, exam centre, and so on.
  7. Save a copy of the admission card to your computer.
  8. Make a copy of the admission card on an A4 sheet of paper.
  9. Keep the admission card safe and bring it to the exam centre on the exam day.
  10. The admission card, as well as a valid photo ID, must be brought to the exam centre.

CUSAT CET 2024 Exam Pattern

  • The CUSAT CET 2024 exam will be conducted online (Computer-Based Test).
  • The exam will last three hours.
  • The exam will include 250 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Each right answer will receive 3 marks.
  • For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
