GNIHM JET (Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Test) is a very popular All India Joint Entrance examination to provide admissions into hotel management courses. This hotel management entrance examination is popularly known as JIS Entrance Test. It comprises of 60 Marks Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with no negative Marking. Questions from General Intelligence, General Knowledge and General English. No negative marking for the wrong answers, Total time allotted 1hr.

In order to appear in GNIHM JET (Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Test), candidates need to fulfil following eligibility conditions.
For Diploma Courses:
Students must have completed class 10+2 in any stream (commerce, science, arts) from CBSE/ICSE or any other recognised board are eligible to apply.
Students must have obtained minimum 50 % aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in class 10+2.
Candidates who are awaiting their board results are also eligible to apply.
For BA/ B.sc/ Bachelor Degree Courses: -
Students must have completed class 10+2 in relevant stream (commerce, science, arts) from CBSE/ICSE or any other recognised board are eligible to apply.
Students must have obtained minimum 50 % aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in class 10+2.
Candidates who are awaiting their board results are also eligible to apply.
For MBA Courses:
Students must have completed Graduation in any stream and holding a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University are eligible to apply.
Students must have obtained minimum 55 % aggregate marks (50% marks for SC/ST) in Graduation.
No backlogs should be remained during examination.
Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date for registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.
