The top 2.5 lakh applicants who achieve a score higher than the JEE Mains cutoff are qualified to take the JEE Advanced exam. The number of applicants eligible for JEE Advanced and the eligibility requirements, however, may change annually.
It is significant to remember that taking the JEE Mains exam and passing the JEE Advanced exam do not ensure admission to an IIT. To qualify for admission to IITs, applicants must also meet the JEE Advanced eligibility requirements and pass the cutoff.
