GUJCET: Gujarat Common Entrance Exam of 2023

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test, or GUJCET, is a state-wide test for getting into Engineering and Pharmacy programs in all of Gujarat. The GUJCET is held every year by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The GUJCET, done offline, is open to everyone who qualifies.


What's GUJCET?

The GUJCET, or Gujarat Common Entrance Test, is a test people take every year to get into engineering and pharmacy programs. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) oversees the test. But the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) lets people in and gives them advice.


GUJCET Criteria for Eligibility 2023

To be eligible for GUJCET, candidates need to make sure they meet thE following requirements:

Candidates must be born in India.

A candidate must live in Gujarat if they want to use a reservation.

The candidate can be at least 17 years old.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a board that is known.

People who are taking their Class 12 exams can also apply.

Application Form for GUJCET 2023

The application process for GUJCET 2023 starts with the form, which can be found on the GUJCET website ( To successfully send the online application form, candidates must fill in the right information and upload the required documents on the portal. During the GUJCET application process, candidates are asked to ensure they have hard and soft copies of the following documents.

Class 10 report card Class 12 report card (if applicable) Category certificate

GUJCET 2023 Admit Card – How to Download Process

Visit the website for the GSHSEB Board at

Click on "GUJCET Hall Ticket" on the tab. (The link will run a few weeks before the exam.)

You can access the hall ticket in one of two ways: "Name and Captcha" or "Application Number."

When you click "Search," the ticket will appear on the screen.

Right-click on the hall ticket and choose "save as" to save it so you can view it later or print it out. Choose PDF as the format, then click "Save." The candidate can now find the admit card on their computer.

Important Exam Instructions: Candidates are asked to bring their GUJCET admit card and a photocopy of another form of ID to the test. (Either a voter card, PAN card, Aadhar card, passport, or driving license)


GUJCET Question Paper 2023

The GUJCET 2023 question paper contains multiple-choice questions for the prescribed subjects. Physics and chemistry questions will be on the same test. That means there are 40 questions about physics (worth 40 points) and 40 questions about chemistry (worth 40 points). So, Physics and Chemistry will get 80 questions, 80 points, and 120 minutes. There will also be one OMR answer sheet with space for 80 answers. Biology and math will each have their questions, so each set of 40 answers will also have its own OMR answer sheet. So, 40 questions in Biology (for 40 points and 60 minutes) and 40 questions in Math (for 40 points and 60 minutes).


Answer Key and Results for the GUJCET 2023

First, the GSEB will release the GUJCET 2023 provisional answer key, which can also be used to file challenges or objections. The official website,, will have the answer key for the GUJCET 2023. Candidates can use the link to download the answer key in PDF format. After the final answer key comes out, the people in charge of the test will announce the results.


GUJCET Selection Process in 2023

After taking the GUJCET exam, candidates will be given a rank based on how many points they got. These marks allow them to choose their course and institution in counseling (seat availability depends on rank and reservation status).
