What is UPESEAT?

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test abbreviation is "UPESEAT." Each year, qualified students can take the entrance exam for one of the many Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree programs offered by the University Of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES). A private institution that has received accreditation from the UGC and AICTE. There are three ways to enter UPES: the UPESEAT, the JEE Main score, and the Board merit list. Eighty percent of the University's seats are filled through UPESEAT, while the remaining twenty percent are filled based on the JEE Main scorecard and Class 12 results.

Eligibility Requirements for UPESEAT 2023

The exam board publishes the UPESEAT requirements alongside the formal announcement. Examinees should verify that they meet the UPESEAT eligibility criteria 2023 before submitting their application. The UPESEAT 2023 eligibility criteria include minimum age, required GPA, and test scores. The application form for UPESEAT 2023 will only be available to those who meet the requirements. There are four ways to get into a B.Tech program at UPES: the UPESEAT, JEE Main, the SAT, or the Merit Board. Interested parties can refer to the details provided below for further clarification.

Eligible applicants must be less than or equal to 22 years of age as of the date of application (i.e., born on or after October 1, 2000) due to the University's age requirement.

Non-examination admission is one option, while Board exam merit is another. The non-examination pathway of UPESEAT 2023 requires the same general criteria as those described above, plus a qualifying score on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.

Students whose JEE Main Merit scores are in the top 50 are considered for direct admission.

The minimum qualifying score for the Board of Examining Medical Examiners (Board) is 80% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Grades 10 and 12.

Candidates in the non-exam category (those not based on JEE/Board exam merit) must participate in centralized counseling based on merit rank.

UPESEAT 2023 admit card

The UPESEAT 2023 admit card can now be downloaded from the exam's official website. Candidates taking the UPESEAT 2023 exam can get their admit cards at upes.ac.in. The UPESEAT admission ticket can be downloaded with just an application number and date of birth. Applicants must book their preferred exam date, time, and location using the UPESEAT system. Personal information, exam date and time, and instructions for test day are all included on the UPESEAT admit card. Admit cards for the UPESEAT can be downloaded exclusively by those who have successfully registered for the exam. Please note that the UPESEAT 2023 admit card will not be mailed to applicants.

The UPSEAT registration form can now be found on the official website of the examination board. The UPESEAT application can be found at upes.ac.in for those interested. Registering, filling out the form, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fee are all part of the UPESEAT 2023 application process. The UPESEAT application form is available exclusively through the online system. All applicants must pay a registration fee of INR 1,350 to participate in UPESEAT 2023.
