The Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHMCT) was established in the year 1996 under the aegis of AWES (Army Welfare Education Society), New Delhi to provide admissions into Hotel Management courses especially for the children of Army personnel.
AIHMCT WAT (Written Admission Test) is no more pen-paper based examination now it is an Online Admission Test (Online Admission Test) organized by Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology in order to impart admission to students in the four years Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management (BHM) courses. AIHMCT WAT replaced by AIHMCT OAT.
AIHMCT is approved by the AICTE (All-India Council for Technical Education) and affiliated with Bangalore University and it is a NAAC accredited institute. AIHMCT is one of the leading Hotel Management Institution integrates competitive learning environment via case studies encompassing valuable industry inputs, hybrid teaching and myriad of extra-curriculum activities with a vision of “Quality Education”.

To appear in the Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Online Admission Test (AIHMCT OAT 2023), students need to follow the given eligibility conditions.
Educational Qualification: - Students must have passed class 10+2 in any stream (Science/ Commerce/ Arts) with English as a compulsory subject from any recognized board.
Students who are awaiting their board result can also apply for provisional admission and at time of admission they have to submit the proof of qualifying exam.
National Opening Schooling Students (regular) must produce class 11 standard certificate from the school.
Age Limit: - The age of candidate must not be more than 22 years.
Physical Fitness: - Candidates should meet the norms of physical fitness as prescribed by the authority.
Applicants are required to apply through the E-application process (online) only. Last date of registration for this academic year is over. Candidates can apply next year by following the process given below.
