Overview

Aliah University conducts the AUAT 2023 entrance test for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate engineering, management, humanities, and social sciences degrees. The qualifying requirements for AUAT 2023 vary based on the subject, however, applicants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent. The application process is done online, and the exam will also be done online. Admission to Aliah University is dependent on AUAT performance and other course-specific criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For engineering courses: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in 10+2 and secured at least 60% overall in PCM and must have passed each subject individually.
  2. For diploma courses: Candidates must have passed Diploma in respective/allied programmes and have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate.
  3. For Bachelor of Science courses: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in 10+2 and secured at least 60% overall and must have passed each subject individually.
  4. For Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature: Candidates must have studied Arabic with at least 100 marks and secured at least 50% in aggregate and 50% in Arabic in 10+2.
  5. For Bachelor of Physiotherapy: Candidates must have studied Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English in 10+2 and secured at least 45% in aggregate in PCB and passed in English individually. Only female candidates can apply.

Application Process for AUAT  2023 Exam :

  1. Visit Aliah University's official website (www.aliah.ac.in).
  2. On the homepage, select "AUAT 2023" under the "Admissions" option.
  3. After carefully reading the instructions, click the "Apply Now" button.
  4. Register by entering basic information such as your name, email address, phone number, and password.
  5. Log in with your credentials and complete the application form with your personal, academic, and contact information.
  6. Upload scanned copies of the required papers in the appropriate format, including mark sheets, pictures, and signatures.
  7. Pay the application fee using one of the provided payment methods.
  8. Examine the application form and submit it.
  9. Make a copy of the application form for future use.

Candidates must complete the online application process within the stipulated time mentioned on the Aliah University website. They also need to upload mark sheets and documents during the application process. However, candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination need to upload the mark sheet/documents before the stipulated date mentioned in the notification.

B.Tech. and BCA: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (as per syllabi of classes XI & XII of WBCHSE and equivalent).

 

Lateral entry to 2nd Year of B.Tech. Programmes: Engineering Mathematics, Basic Computer Science, Strength of Material, Engineering Mechanics, Environmental Engineering, Basic Electrical Technology, and Basic Electronics Engineering.

 

Integrated MBA (BBA - MBA) programme: Mathematics, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, Commercial Arithmetics, and Elementary Knowledge in the Concerned Area.

 

UG programmes (except Arabic, Urdu, Islamic Theology, and Islamic Studies): Concerned subject as per syllabi of classes XI & XII of WBCHSE and equivalent.

 

Nursing Programme: Biology, Chemistry & Physics (as per syllabus of JENPARH/JENPAUH, West Bengal).

 

Honours in Arabic and Urdu: As per Arabic and Urdu syllabi of H.S. or equivalent examination.

 

B.A. Hons. in Islamic Theology and Islamic Studies: As per syllabi of Fazil according to WBBME.

 

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Statistics: Syllabus of classes XI & XII of Mathematics of H.S. of WBCHSE.

 

Masters programmes (excluding MJMC): Concerned subject.

 

MJMC: English, Concept of Language and Literature, Fundamentals of Journalism and Mass Communication, Sports and Cinema.

 

MCA programme: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Problem Solving Questions, Discrete Quantitative Analysis, and Basic Mathematics.

 

LL.M. Programme: Based on LL.B. programme of recognised University.

 

B.Ed. Programme: Reasoning, Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.

General English, General Knowledge, Islamic History & Culture

General English: Basic knowledge of vocabularies, grammar and comprehension of 10+2 level.

 

General Knowledge: History (Medieval and Modern India), Geography, Political Science, General Science, and Current Affairs.

 

Islamic History & Culture: Based on 10+2 level.

AUAT 2023  Exam Dates

The AUAT 2023 exam dates have been announced. The exam for UG courses will be held on 2nd, 8th, and 9th July, while the exam for PG courses will take place on 15th and 16th July. Applicants should make note of these dates and prepare accordingly.

AUAT 2023  Admit Card

The admit card for UG courses for AUAT 2023 will be released on 25th June, while for PG courses, it will be released on 30th June. To download the admit card, candidates need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of Aliah University.
  2. Click on the Admit Card link.
  3. Enter the mandatory details such as Registration Number and Password.
  4. Click on the Submit button.
  5. The admit card will be on the screen.
  6. Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.

  • Subjects: General Knowledge, General English, and Islamic History & Culture (20%) and relevant subject (80%)

  • Language: Bengali/English
  • Syllabus: Follow the table provided for Part-I (80 marks)
  • Part-II: 20 marks on General Knowledge, General English, and Islamic History & Culture (in a 1:1:2 ratio)

AUAT 2023  Exam Centres

  1. AUAT-2023 will be held only in the Kolkata Centre (Aliah University Campus/Campuses) for 4-Year B.Sc. in Nursing and 2-Year B.Ed. programmes.
  2. AUAT-2023 for other UG programmes will be held only in a few strategically positioned West Bengal towns, as indicated below. Candidates must select any two centres as their first and second choices.
  3. AUAT-2023 would be held only at the Kolkata Centre (Aliah University Campus/Campuses) for all PG programmes.

AUAT 2023  Result

The results for AUAT 2023 UG courses will be available between July 20th and July 31st, while the results for PG programmes will be published on July 31st, 2023. Candidates must complete the steps indicated below to view the results:

  2. Select the "Results" tab.
  3. Enter your login information, such as your roll number and date of birth.
  4. The outcome will be shown on the screen. 
  5. Candidates can download and print their results for future reference.

AUAT 2023  Cut Off

The AUAT selection procedure is merit-based, and the cut-off marks change each year depending on factors such as the number of candidates, exam difficulty level, and seat availability. Following the announcement of the results, a merit list will be released, and candidates scoring equal to or higher than the cut-off marks will be eligible for admission.
