Overview

MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is a standard management admission exam conducted four times a year by the All India Management Association (AIMA) in February, May, September, and December. The exam is provided for those seeking admission to MBA, PGDM, and other management programmes at several B-schools across India. The MAT is a computer-based exam that tests applicants' knowledge of Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, and the Indian & Global Environment. The exam lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes and has 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into five sections of 40 questions each.

  1. Registration: Candidates must register on the AIMA's official website: https://mat.aima.in by submitting basic information such as their name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number.
  2. Filling out the application form: After registering, candidates must complete the application form by giving personal, academic, and work experience information.
  3. Uploading documents: Candidates must upload scanned copies of their photographs and signature in accordance with the application form standards.
  4. Application fee payment: Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
  5. Submitting the application form: Candidates must submit the application form after completing all of the preceding procedures. They should make a copy of the form for future use.

It is necessary to carefully read the directions on the application form and fill in all of the details correctly. Candidates should also keep important dates in mind, such as the last day for submitting the application form and the exam date.

MAT 2023 Exam Dates

Candidates can take the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) 2023 in the following modes:( Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT), Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT), Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (CBT+IBT), Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test (PBT+CBT), and Double Computer Based Test (CBT+CBT).)

MAT candidates can choose an extra mode of the test by paying ₹1150/- along with the regular fee of ₹1950/-. This allows them to select an additional 2 management institutes for sending their scores, making it a total of 7 institutes.

Paper-based Test (PBT): In this mode, the MAT exam is conducted in a traditional pen and paper format where candidates have to mark their answers on an OMR sheet.

Computer-based Test (CBT): In this mode, the MAT exam is conducted online where candidates have to answer the questions using a computer system.

MAT 2023 Admit Card

All registered IBT/PBT applicants must download their Admit Card from the MAT website https://mat.aima.in/  (Applicant dashboard) as per the schedule 

The candidate's name, form number, roll number, test date, time, and test venue address are all listed on the admit card. The candidate must closely adhere to the date and time specified in the admit card.

Availability of MAT May 23 Score on MAT Website: By 2nd week of June 2023 Candidates have to download the MAT Score from website https://mat.aima.in/

  3. Select  MAT Result  from the dropdown menu.
  4. Enter your Roll Number, Registration Number, and Date of Birth.
  5. Click on the Submit button.
